2000 years ago, a child conceived by the Holy Spirit was born to a Jewish woman, Mary.
His name is Jesus.
Jesus was like you, like me: in the flesh.
He would run, walk, sing, eat, laugh, etc.
His whole life was the bearer of a wonderful message that can transform the course of your life: God is Love, He wants to give Men His Love and be in a relationship with them.
He loves you and wants to create this relationship with you.
You could tell me that there are a lot of people who have said or done great things.
It is true, the consciousness given to human beings by their Creator can guide them to deal with beauty, through their words or actions.
Others have already placed their trust in Christ and with Him are the source of communion on Earth: they are His lips, His arms and His legs.
Jesus has embodied His message every day and at every moment. He loved and loves, performed miracles, proclaimed and taught the Kingdom of God, brought His joy and His abundant life.
That is why, over 2000 years ago, fishermen, sick people, thieves, prostitutes, tax collectors, men and women have placed their trust in Him. They followed Him because His life was a testimony of the Love He had for them.
He had become their friend and they were His friends.
His life is His message, the example He embodied till the end. You may know how His life ended: He was crucified, it is the work of the cross that offers salvation to the world.
Then He rose from the dead, He led the way so that we could in turn seize this hope.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus realised what no one else did: He broke the power of death. He has the power to offer you life, eternal life.
In fact, Jesus’ original name in Hebrew is Yahushua which means « Yah saves ». That is to say « God saves » because He is the Son of God sent to save anyone who will believe in Him.
He is the Messiah who came as man, the Word of God in the flesh and God Himself.
In Jesus, God makes his way through man’s heart, through the heart of lives, problems, wounds and questions. He is interested in you and his love is unconditional.
He loved you first.
He is calling you to make the choice to follow him, to place your trust in Him, to receive his Spirit and to love him back.
