What we believe

Our confession of faith

The work of Transform is part of the legacy of the early Church, councils of the 4th century which saw appearing the symbol of the Apostles and the Symbol of Faith that we also confess, of the Reformation and evangelical Christianity.

What we believe in is based on the holy scriptures.

We believe that the Holy Scripture, the Bible, the Old and the New Testament, is completely inspired by God, never-failing authority and unique in terms of faith and life.

(2 Timothy 3: 15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2: 13)

We believe that there is only one God, who has existed for all eternity, in three persons:Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(Ephesians 4: 4-6, Psalm 93: 2, Matthew 28:19, John 1: 1, John 10:30)

We believe that God is Holy, Almighty and Love. That He is the creator of all things, He is not one to show partialityand His love has been proved to men by the sending of the Son.

(Revelation 4: 8, 11, 1 John 4: 16, Genesis 1: 1-31, Acts 10: 34, Romans 5: 8, John 3: 16)

We believe in Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born to the virgin Mary. He is the Messiah who came as man, true God and true man.

(Matthew 1: 18, 20, 2 John 1: 7, John 1: 1)

We believe in His divine miracles. That He is without sin, that He died on the cross to take away our sins, in His resurrection, His Ascension, and His work as mediator.

(Matthew 9: 6-7, 1 John 3: 5, Hebrews 4: 15, 1 John 4: 10, Acts 1: 9, 2: 32-33, 1 Timothy 2: 5)

We believe that all men are sinners and deprived of the glory of God. That they are saved by the grace of God alone by the blood of his Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross, salvation that man obtains neither by the Law nor by works but by faith alone.

(Romans 3: 21-30, Galatians 2: 21, Ephesians 2: 8-9)

We believe that the believer who has been saved is a new creature, sealed, regenerated and renewed by the Holy Spirit.

(2 Corinthians 5: 17, Galatians 6: 15, Ephesians 1: 13, Titus 3: 5)

We believe in the Holy Spirit, divine person, and in his work. He delivers the world from disbelief, reveals the righteousness of God and unveils the judgment because Satan was judged on the cross.

(Genesis 1: 2, Luke 3: 22, Ezekiel 2: 2, John 16: 8-11, Colossians 2: 15)

We believe that the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in the believer, making him able to live a holy life, clothing him with strenth to testify and strive for Jesus Christ.

(Romans 8: 4-16, 1 Corinthians 12: 3, Romans 15: 13, Acts 1: 8)

We believe in the true unity of believers in the Holy Spirit. They have become members of God’s family and together form the universal Church, the Body of Christ of which He is the head.

We believe in the universal priesthood of believers, Jesus our High Priest has made us all priests.

(1 Corinthians12: 11, 13, Ephesians 4: 4, Ephesians 1: 20-23, Colossians 1: 18, 1 Peter 2: 9, Revelation 1: 6)

We believe that the Holy Spirit arouses the local church and the extra-local work to expand the Body of Christ. Local churches and works exist beyond denominations, and are interacting in diverse and various ways.

(Matthew 18: 19-20, Acts 2: 47, Romans 16: 16, 1 Corinthians 1: 2, Acts 13: 2-4, Romans 16: 9, Philippians 4: 3, Titus 3: 12)

We believe that the Holy Spirit directs and teaches the Church, clothing it with His strength, and giving believers various gifts and ministries for the building of the Body of Christ.

(John 14: 26, Acts 1: 8, 1 Corinthians 12: 4-12)

He has provided men and women for his leadership through:

– the five ministries of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and doctor. They serve in the local Church or in the Work (Ephesians 4: 11-12, Acts 13: 1, 14: 14, 18: 26, 21: 8-10, Romans 16: 7, 2 Timothy 4: 5)

– the ministry of elder or bishop or presbyter and the ministry of deacon, they serve in the local Church (Acts 14: 23, 20: 28, Romans 16: 1, Philippians 1: 1)

We believe in baptism by immersion in water. He does not have has the power to save in himself, salvation being received by faith and God’s grace alone. Baptisms follow the conversion; it is the believer’s expression of faith and represents the believer’s burial and resurrection with and in Jesus Christ.

(Matthew 28: 19, Romans 3: 21-30, Acts 2: 37-38, 8: 36-38, 10: 47-48, 19: 2-6, 1 Peter 3: 21, Romans 6: 4, Colossians 2: 12)

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in eternal life.

(Psalm 16: 10, Job 19: 25-27, Isaiah 26: 19, Acts 2: 31, 1 Corinthians 15: 13, John 11: 25-26, 17: 1-3)

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ in glory.

(Mark 13: 35, Acts 1: 11, 3: 20-21, 2 Thessalonians 2: 8, Titus 2: 13)
