We start our music week with the band Koinonia, pioneer of Christian jazz-funk.
« Koinonia » is a Greek word, found several times in the New Testament, meaning « intimate fellowship. »
In this album, the group offers us rich, joyful and festive pieces conducive to celebrating communion with God three times holy and between men, communion possible thanks to the death and resurrection of Christ.
The members, talented instrumentalists, have collaborated with different artists, especially bassist, Abraham Laboriel, and percussionist, Alex Acuna.
